Move through the images that were created during a pivotal moment of artistic exchange between the United States and Mexico in Under the Mexican Sky: A Revolution in Modern Photography. This compelling exhibition at the Academy Art Museum presents 50 vintage photographs that redefined modern photography. To capture the robust artistic exchange between American and Mexican photographers, Fourth Floor Design Collective was contracted to develop the full exhibition cycle of this show. In partnership with the museum staff, we transformed their Lederer Gallery to echo the dynamic, cross cultural dialogue emanating from the photographs. Our team delivered an initial concept, designed graphics and spatial layouts, and created dimensioned installation manuals for the museum arthandling team.
